Dr. Mustafa R. Steityeh has practised general surgery in Amman for more than thirty years. He trained internationally — earning his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and his Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons in the United States — and has spent his career refining the techniques that define modern minimally invasive surgery.

His practice covers the full breadth of general surgery, with particular focus on laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, and surgical oncology. He is a member of the Union for International Cancer Control, a councillor of the Jordan Surgical Society, and a member of the European Society of Surgical Oncology and the International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists and Oncologists. He served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where he taught and supervised a generation of Jordanian surgeons.
